About Rupture Theme

Rupture is a Wordpress theme using CSS3 and XHTML. It includes a widgetized sidebar, a generic ’space’ background for use on any type of blog, a hover-over RSS button, opacity in the header and footer,  customized comment form, and post, category, and comment counter in the footer.

Rupture 1.0 features

• Highly widgetized sidebar with custom formatting for the default widgets (calendar, text, search, etc…)
• Valid XHTML + CSS3
• Valid CSS3? Since pseudo elements are used for older browsers to unleash the power of CSS3, the CSS3 validation is perfect with exception to these elements.

Installation Instructions

1. Download Rupture by hitting the green button on the sidebar
2. After it’s downloaded, paste it in the wp-content/themes directory of your website
3. Upload it to the web!
4. Log into the wordpress backend, and click appearance/themes
5. If you did everything right, you should see the Rupture theme listed. Activate it and you’re done!
6. You can add sidebar widgets under appearance/widgets
